Ten-Ten has been sitting at dock since June and we are keeping our fingers crossed and praying that we will be casting off the dock lines tonight. Only looking at a weekend in the harbor but it is a weekend that is really needed!

It has been 6 months since we were last at anchor on Ten-Ten. Between work and other commitments our boat time has been rather short. But that is only for another 10 months and then we are retired and able to spend the time as we want. We are working on getting Ten-Ten ready for our retired life. We have installed a new electrical panel along with replacing wiring. Our to do list is still long but we have time to get her all pulled together.
We have been sitting here at Pelican Bay at anchor now for a couple of days and have a few more to go. The weather has been beautiful, nice breeze to keep the heat tolerable, the biggest problem is how warm the water is already. 88 degrees is very warm for this early in the year. Bugs haven't been too terrible but at night our screens are up before they get to us. We are relaxing, watching the dolphins, the birds, reading and enjoying!
Here is to hoping that it is not another 6 months before we get out!

We were able to pull a couple of vacation days and headed out to celebrate the new year on board Ten-Ten at the anchorage we both love. We had very limited time out on Ten-Ten during 2005, with the recovery process from Hurricane Charley & my recovery from the "adventure" with breast cancer.
There was a beautiful sunset on New Years Eve 2005 and another beautiful sunset on New Years Day 2006. Here's hoping that 2006 is going to be a great year!
I love you so much Ted. Thank you for the week out. I really needed that and so did you!
