Terry and I have been dreaming of sailing away together since he sailed away a week after we were married on the USS Hancock to the Gulf of Tonkin. Finally 40 years, two kids, and a bunch of boats later, we�re at last in the final stages of preparation.
Since purchasing our boat in November of �06 we have had all of the normal nightmares of new boat ownership. (I would say �used boat� ownership, but friends of ours, who had a new boat built, had nightmares that make our troubles look like daydreams!) We have ironed out the worst of them (the head doesn�t leak anymore � way to go Terry!) and are planning sea trials before we head south, hopefully by mid November.
We�re looking forward to seeing you on the water, or if you�re still dreaming, meet us in a port!
