MARINER 31 FOR SALE

29 January 2013 | City Marina, K Dock, Fort Pierce, Florida
Thomas Lee
Snow and cold weather got you down.

The Mariner 31 that is next to me on K-Dock at the Fort Pierce City Marina, would be a good live aboard sailboat. One could live on the boat, enjoy the warm Florida weather, and do repairs that are needed.

The Mariner 31 was the first fiberglass boat built by Far East Yachts in Japan. The interior woodwork is wonderful. The biggest issue, that I can see, is the deck and deckhouse Water has leaked in and done damagein places to the wood core. It is my opinion that this could be fixed by injecting epoxy into the soft parts in the deck and deckhouse. It's kind of a dental like project.

Last week, staff from the marina started the diesel engine. It sounded good.
