Cabo San Lucas Day 3
08 December 2009
We're having a nice relaxing morning, reading and swimming but the boat activity on the water is churning it up too much to see fish or make it easy to swim. We spent the morning sorting out our new booty of fishing gear, trying to make it all fit in one tackle box (not going to happen).
Two cruise ships pulled into port. Why would the city want that many people at one time is beyond me. You would think that they'd want it a constant flow and separate the arrivals out a bit. Every time I see them I'm thinking 'Love Boat'.
So off to town again we go for a bit of heavy duty fishing line and a lure. Stopped at an ice cream place where we bought frozen fruit pops which were really frozen fruit on a stick. I had watermelon (seeds and all) and Jim had pineapple, both of which were really good. Have to remember that for NY and try to make some.
Passage II hailed us (loud and clear from San Jose del Cabo). Jim D. is headed back to California tomorrow (boo hoo) so we'll try to see them tomorrow before he leaves when we stop for fuel and water. The anchorage is really rolly tonight so we'll be glad to move on tomorrow.
