Come on man! We survived the last freeze with a little bit of ice on the windshield that we had to wait for the sun to melt. Otherwise, the plants are still flowering and green. Wheewwwww! But the geese are flying already! Crap! Do they know something we don't?

So here we go again! Cover everything up (should we just give up?). Phil actually built a green house around his habanero plants cuz they're doing so good. They are 2 to 3 ft high and wide! Didn't know they got that big. And they're flowering all over the place.

The cold doesn't seem to be affecting the lawn at all.....have to mow again. It takes about 1-1/2 hours to mow our lawn right now and that's without any weedwacking or other trimming. Haven't been taking lots of pictures of the fall colors......bad girl. So here's one of my sunflowers before Hurricane Irene wiped them out.
