Further down the Hudson River in Saugerties we walked out to the lighthouse. This was built in 1869 and completed restored in 1990 and is now open to the public during the day (the grounds) and open on appointed tours or you can stay the night for under $250. You can even pull up to it by boat. How fun would that be?
At least seven more lighthouses to see on the Hudson River........

We had to get some supplies so figured we'd do a little sightseeing along the Hudson River. And lo and behold what we spied from the road! This is docked and plugged in behind a commercial building along the Hudson. How cool is that? Pirates in upstate NY!!!!!

The last thing you want to do the day after a big party is get up early, but I did so my sisters-in-law and I could go pick strawberries. And boy did we pick! It took us about 3 hours but we picked 78 pounds of strawberries between the three of us. Can you say dead tired and sore?
And my 23 pounds turned into 41 cups of halved strawberries. We be jammin'! I wanna jammin' with you LOL (come on, add that rasta beat!)
