Last of Fall
14 October 2012
Just took a Sunday ride around to enjoy the last of fall. Pretty isn't it?
Pepper Harvest
10 October 2012
After multiple frost warnings and a freeze warning coming up, we harvested the rest of the sensitive veggies -bell peppers and the chili peppers (habaneros, jalapenos, long hots), tomatoes (way too many left on), squashes and cucumbers. Not a bad crop at all this year. Just have beets and carrots left and then we can till it up for the season.
Oh and current count on canning jars sealed is : 158 :)
Adirondack run
22 September 2012
We went on a drive through some of the Adirondacks with my brother and his wife. The Adirondack Park was founded 1894 and is 6 million acres big! So when I say some, it is just a drop in the bucket since there aren't many roads through it.
Lake count passed by or stopped at : 27 best as I can count them LOL Lots of rivers, creeks, ponds, marshes and official lakes.
Here my sister-in-law and I are in one of the Paul Bunyan sized chairs that are seen in the area. Make anyone think of Lily Tomlin?
Playing with my flowers
10 September 2012
We've had some nice wildflowers come up this year, so I just had to play with some close ups. Flowers are so cool!
Hugs & kisses
01 September 2012
This is just a quick note for hugs and kisses to our friends for their losses this year. Family and friends will never be forgotten, no matter how far away or how much time passes.
Hugs Tina

And they're off!
14 August 2012
Here it comes....tomato season, late this year but yum yum good. And our hot peppers are doing fantastic in the greenhouse Phil put together. The habanero plants are up past my hips! So far his experiment of how tomatoes do in the greenhouse vs out in the open has proved that they grow like a jungle in the greenhouse (up to the top of it and hitting the roof). Makes it really hard to pick them though LOL Have to work out those bugs next year.
