During the last couple of years we have had many adventures on the Rock. I started living on the rock
in September 2010. It has been awesome to live so close to nature!
There have been many repairs and much equipment added in the last 2 years. The cockpit has been totally replaced. The transom rail has been rebuilt with davits and a radar arch added. We now have a table that our outdoor stove/oven will set on and will cover our generator too. A lock down cover for our dive compressor will be added in July.
It has been raining so much here that I've had no opportunity to do the needed paint/bright work. The cabin sole needs resealed as it is leaking and accepting a lot of rain water into the boat. I have to seal a couple of windows as well so it would be nice to have more than a day and a half of sunshine.
Here are some of the photos of the last couple of years as well as the repair work being completed.

April brought the weather we usually get in march we've had plenty of storms well over 40 knots gusting in the 60s. Charlie and I took these opportunities to go out and see how the rock handles in rough weather.
I am very pleased at how well balance the rock has proven to be. She is a well-found boat indeed. She handles nicely and at no time did she give us any cause for concern.

April brings the Grey whales to our waters from Mexico on their migration back to Alaska. Charlie and I were out for a sail and we came across a pod of whales. We were sailing with them for about a half hour. It was so cool just moving with the wind and the whales! No motor sound just the wind the waves from the Rock and the blow of the whales!
