Catching up a little as it's been a busy 4 days - A little out of order, but as Alyssa said none of us can sleep with someone else sleeping, so I thought it was a good time to acknowledge everyone who is part of our lives and has helped us start on this journey! Even if I don't mention some names, they know who they are! Thank you for all of the best wishes and prayers.

Prep - Peepaw/TROM/Bill "Sr" for lending a helping hand starting on Wednesday as he began his "golfing up the west coast" tour. Friday - Bill & Sue or Grandpa Bill & Mo for keeping the Dickinson Boys (Max 8, Cody 5) for the first week. Coyote Point Yacht Club for hosting a fabulous Bon Voyage Party. I'm sorry I couldn't be there, but I heard it was a great turnout and super food. Saturday - Alaska Airlines for finally getting me to the Bay area, even if it was into Oakland! The Pac Cup Bon Voyage party at Berkeley and getting to wish our fellow racers a safe voyage. Sunday - Lori, Alyssa and I planning for provisioning then running a marathon to Costco and Safeway! Carrie Pratt lending us a helping hand with 2 casseroles! We may be the best fed crew EVER! Monday - Loose ends, dry ice, final packing, oh...and that broken ratchet block that Ken happened to find right before 5pm! Our crew pictures shirts courtesy of Liz, with battle flag. Tuesday - Renea, Chuck, Mark and Laurie for taking pictures as we cast off the lines and headed out the marina. Joe's special send-off prayer, and of course you can never have too many ti leaves. Jane, Ethan and Emma for seeing us off at San Francis YC. Vince, Vince, Vince - what can I say...who even sailed out to the starting line!

We are bobbing along out here near Pt. Reyes, but I guess you can see that! Thanks again to everyone to help us make this journey and to see us get there; especially our Mom who without her, none of us would be here...we will see you in Oahu!

Mahalo, Kim
