I thought when I left for this adventure I would have 3 weeks without being on call. No cell phone ringing or alarming in the middle of the night to waken me from a deep sleep. I guess I was wrong about that, Monday night and Tuesday night I slept in my foul weather gear with my safety harness by the bunk because we had high winds and big waves. Monday night we had an emergency sail change when our spinnaker decided to tear apart at the seams, Tuesday night we just had high winds and I was ask to be ready all night long and last night we did a last second sail change at about 10:00 pm right in the middle of my break. Tonight things appear to be back to normal and it looks like all of us will be able to catch u on our sleep, unless of course I hear the call "Everybody up on deck!" Tomorrow morning we will be over 3/4 of the way to Hawaii, We are estimating our finish to be Sunday late afternoon and are currently guessing times to see who will be the closest. I have guessed Sunday at 8:35 PM (Pacific Time) or 5:35 PM Hawaii. Maybe you can make your own guess as to when we will arrive?
