There's two meanings for the title:

1) we're about to break the 200 nm to go mark!

2) last night my diligence watching the radar paid off when I noticed a set of correlated tracks racing toward the boat from about 1/4 mile out at our 2 o'clock. I'm thinking (at 1:00 am), what the... So I start scanning for a bird that maybe saw us and decided to check us out when I notice incoming torpedoes given away by the phosphorescence - about that time one of three small dolphins breached/blew and startled me half to death! They play around the boat for about 10 minutes, and while I could barely make them out, I think they were Pacific White-sided dolphins. We can add dolphin tracking to our capabilities. Wish we had known that when we were surrounded by whales by the Farrallons...

Damp/dreary this morning, so I'm off to relieve Dad from watch...

Extra:	2016 Update: The Year of the Kids! A lot of Worshams and those mental enough to be on a boat with them! In the Small World department, the Tiki J race crew, return crew (including Bill Sr) and shore support crew a.k.a. our extended families were saddened to learn of the passing of Charley [...] Dole in Hawaii earlier this year. Charley and the University of Hawaii collegiate sailing team stayed with us in Port Neches, TX during a regatta hosted by the Lamar University sailing team long ago (early '80s?) and we had several later occasions to stay in touch. Kim saw him after the 2010 Pac Cup when he was helming a J/24 in the local beer can race at age 90-something. We had hoped to see him again this summer. We will think about him often during the race and would like to lift a glass with others who knew him once we arrive in Hawaii. More
