Brad
We had a taste-off at lunch between a store-bought poke kit and a recipe I found on the internet before leaving HI. There weren't any complaints with either, but I was partial to the fresh-made recipe. I'm glad that Vince wasn't here to have to endure the test. Seriously, I'm glad we didn't have to share with Vince ;-) We followed it up with sushi and fried rice for dinner.

Wow, I just looked up to find the wind direction of due North. Not a lot of pressure yet ( 7-9 kts), and not yet consistent, but that's a very encouraging sign. We tried in vain to set the genoa a couple times today but the angles just wouldn't work. I'm going to download wx data when I transmit this to see if there are any changes to the plan.

Quote of the day: Tom, "Whales blow" We just saw a whale(s) cross about 100 yards behind us! We could see plume(s) and small dorsal fin(s) on every other surface.
