Brad
It's pretty much a straight shot from here to SF, as we're only about 25nm south of the city at the moment. We took a short jog south this morning to downshift from the genoa to the jib given some better pressure and an upcoming shift to the right over the next couple of days. It was good timing as we saw some gusts over 20kts shortly after in a brief rain shower, which is a bit much for the genoa/reefed-main even at reaching angles. This'll be the last voyage for the genoa, as it's seriously delaminating and I want to save it for the end game. We'll ride like this until we see the next left shift, perhaps full hoisting the main if the wind relaxes, and are looking forward to broad reaching conditions with the genoa and possibly the A4 spin for the last 200 miles.

A belated thanks to Vince and Scott for having the spare fuel filters, filter wrench, catch basin, and helpful hints posted near the engine - all of which made the filter change a much more efficient undertaking. Even so, I figure I can cut the time by at least a half if I have to change another one. In the mean time, the engine has run great on the aft filter since I changed the forward one.

We're punching the clock and logging the miles now that we're on the last leg. Speeds should average about 7kts. If better than that, it'll be a late-Sat/early-Sun arrival, otherwise (and prob more realistically) Sun morning.
