Tied up to dock yesterday to charge and equalize batteries and take on water. Will be leaving this morning after clearing customs and immigration.

This will be a long trip. 449nm to Bonaire nonstop. That will take over 4 days at 4.5 knots avg speed over ground. Will be out of contact until next wifi. Sure hope the auto pilot holds up. The hard part is having to sleep in 2min intervals, scanning the horizon then resetting the alarm. If you get too tired you can always heave-to.



Too much turmoil happening in Venezuela to even stop at the out island. Lots of boat boardings with violent attacks on crews. Will go north of the out island by at least 30 miles
