Finally got the auto pilot in, had to rent a car and go to FedEx as they wouldn't deliver to Salinas Post Office. Was about a 45 min drive but worth it.
After waiting five days for a replacement debit card and pin number and hiking about five miles daily only to be told it wasn't in yet, we made other arrangements and departed Salinas to continue East. Again having to leave early mornings to take advantage of night lees before the East winds start honking.
Arrived at Boca de Inferino whioch is our staging area for the next days journey. Tucked in behind some mangroves and started fishing. Caught a trophy Tarpon but he straightened the hook before I could photo him.
Chris fixed dinner from some hardtail fillets and some potatoe like tuber, garlic, black beans and rice. It was actually pretty good just a little salty from cookink it all in seawater. We've been experimenting with our new pressure cooker. It saves not only fuel but time. It came with a rice pudding recipe that is to die for.
Was a nice evening with no bugs. We left Monday morning at 4:00 bound for Puerto Patillas about 20 nm away
