After 10,000 miles logged last year on an Atlantic Circuit taking in Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Canaries, Carribean, Bahamas, Florida, Bermuda and back to Spain we're heading north in 2013. Having wintered in Almerimar, southern Spain we are heading north for the Clyde then the Shetlands and on to the Lofotens in northern Norway for the summer. Come August we backtrack heading for the Canaries to join the ARC for our fourth Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean. After Christmas we will be heading up the islands.....Guadeloupe, Antigua, St Martin and the BVI's. from there, it's a toss up between making a slower trip through the Bahamas or maybe we will try Cuba which many cruisers recommend. Thereafter, the plan is a trip up the east coast of the USA to get out of the hurricane zone by June. Then.......! |
