Well it's cruising time with the cousins. Took Shahn and the kids out for a trip up the lake a ways.

Yvonne is getting better on the tiller, she almost has gotten the hang of steering opposite to the direction of travel. Only a few oppses this time. The wind is pretty light so it was a slow and gentle trip north. Ran out of wind about halfway up to the provincial campground so we had to pull down the sheets and fire up the motor.

The girls enjoyed the first part of the trip but quickly fell asleep when things got still on the lake in the heat. Will have to take the kids up here later in the week and drift while they swim. The cove we drifted into while waiting on the winds return would have made a nice little stopping point for a shore break if needed.

Shahn also made me some gaskets for the keel pin. They seem to be working well.
