Just a quick update on our project progress... After only 2 (very long days) Dana and Rob have made great strides on the sub flooring. I am the official go-fer but at the end of the day we are both sleeping like logs. The sub flooring is all but done in the "new kitchen" and I love it! Rob and I even had happy hour last night "in our new kitchen".

With a little guilt on my part, the "ladies of Hupper" , Jane Demado, Leslie Larsen and I took a terrific kayaking tour for over 3 hours today. An absolutely perfect day for such an outing...flat calm seas, 80 degree temps and only a light sea breeze! "Port Clyde Kayaks" right here in the port, is a terrific kayak tour business, privately owned by Cody and Tamara took us on a tour around several of the islands in the Muscongus Bay. The beautiful Maine coast islands, tall pines, eagle and ospry nests, plenty of seals and even a porpois were all exciting sites in this quaint, classic New England area. With any luck, I hope to kayak again this season, once the fall foliage turns it's stunning colors. This certainly is a very special part of our country and our never ending adventure in life. Be sure to check out a few pics in the photo gallery.
