3rd Day was a charm. Seas still pretty sloppy and winds were 15-20 knots. We still flew the Chute for several hours and even registered 9.5 & 10 knots speed!!!! We practiced our man-overboard drill when the yellow horse shoe was "kicked off" by the sheet that slapped from the Chute. We doubled back and recovered it with a boat hook after several circles,as it wouldn't swim closer to us and it would just ride the waves! We crossed the finish line at 7:35pm which was dark and by 8pm decided to slow the motor so we wouldn't get to the actual opening of Turtle Bay too early...
