The Final stretch
08 November 2007 | At Sea heading to Cabo

WELL..it's 6am and time for our final position reading. We try to sail for awhile the final morning, but by 11am we put on the motor and crossed the finish line at 1:36pm!!!! We didn't get to the actual anchorage until 2pm and it took another 90 minutes to find a spot to anchor. Slips were going for $140.00/night! Our anchorage was great 23 53.N 109 54.W in sand and besides the jet skiis and banana boat it was a pleasant anchorage. What an accomplishment! Never thought we would ever get out of Sausalito! The next 4 days we enjoyed Cabo, the activities, the food and the sweet feeling of success! WE MADE IT! With help from our friends, Gill and Richard.
