Wow, it's Friday already and we have been here a whole week! We have discovered the Comercial Mexicana, a "super walmart" kind of grocery, clothing, hardward, appliance and home furnishings store all rolled into one and it's air conditioned! Rob has been volunteering to go shopping with me! Of course to keep me on track and to enjoy a little cooling off spell. The heat is still only upper 80's but the humidity has been in the 70's....With a little ocean breeze it's not so bad on the water, but in land 20 steps and you are dripping wet. Ahhhh welcome to Mexico. We need to get used to this, as in the rainy season especially in Central America the humidity is really thick as it rains every day for an hour or so, but never really clears the air! Today finished up a few chores (laundry, got more water delivered to the boat and whether we wanted to our not...our bottom cleaning days are done as far as Zihua is concerned...Why you ask...WELL....today, during happy hour, we had friends Terri & Lyman over and what do we spot in the water, just about 75 feet from our boat, but a pretty big crocodile, just swimming by!!!!!!! Talk about shock! At first we thought it was a log, a very long log, but then the snout came out of the water, that was no floating wooden "branch". This thing had teeth. WELL... I guess cleaning the bottom will just have to wait until another anchorage...
