Now this looks Tropical - Caribbean style

We arrived Tuesday at the island of Bonacca where we we heard it was easy to check into Honduras. As expected Rob & Lyman got us legal in less than 1 hr and only cost $3.00/person! It actually took us longer to get anchored in the harbor than to check in. We made our way to Graham's Cay to anchor for a couple of days. This is what I had imagined the beachfront would look like in the Caribbean. Four freshly painted, each a bright pastel color, enclosed cabanas on stilts, complete with porch swing and palm trees swaying! A little open air restaurant where I tried Conch Fritters (kind of like Abalone if not pounded within an inch of it's life) with a beautiful view of both the open ocean and the anchorage. Of course there was some slow internet, so still no speed for pictures! Only an hour after arriving we spotted a dolphin swimming around sans cles so Terri & I jumped in and actually watched him swim toward us then back away and circle around. Quite exciting...almost like seeing Flipper! The snorkeling was VERY GOOD with several large heads of coral with lots of fish and even a little marine life corralled for our viewing...huge stingrays, sea turtles and some really BIG fish. We could have spent more time here with gorgeous sunsets and a calm anchorage, but it's time to head to Roatan.
