MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!

Sue
Christmas is coming upon us as quickly as it is for all of you.

We spent a day in Phillipsburg with Monique & Jean of Desirada. As we were returning on the bus, they realized that they had forgotten their backpack; it was slung on the backrest of the chair, on the outside of the restaurant by the beach. Jean took a return bus and as he’s walking up the beach, he notices that the restaurant is closed. Would you believe the backpack was still where he has left it? Hundreds of people had probably walked by and there is sat. It is so comforting to know that there are still many honest people out there.

We had an exciting visit with Heather & Judy, friends from Ontario (their hubbies were in Florida). We had a wonderful time catching up in Marigot, over lunch & cocktails.
We always love to meet friends along our travels. Unfortunately we will have left St. Martin by the time Peggy & Jim arrive at the beginning of February, but we are planning to be in St. Lucia when Terry & Randy are there.

We’ve been having happy hours on boats & at local hangouts and have been preparing for Christmas; all our shopping is done.

Tonight being Christmas Eve, we will be hosting a dinner party for 8. I’m cooking my traditional Xmas dinner including tourtieres and turkey.
Christmas morning, we will be brunching aboard Don Quillechote.

HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
