The first couple of times we took the boat out were interesting, we always learned something new, like the time we decided to tow the dinghy. We learned that a float or a floating line on the dinghy when towing is a good idea, especially when starting the engine. :) That day we named both the boat and the dinghy. Troublemaker and the Damn Dinghy!

Bill and I recently bought a sailboat. A 1979 San Juan 28 we call "Troublemaker". We've spent the last couple of months cleaning her up, getting the bottom painted and fixing the engine. We've also managed to get out on the sound and sail around a bit, learning along the way. We're planning on a week long cruise to the San Juan Islands to celebrate our first anniversary in August.
