While we stayed in Orange Beach for the hurricane and then over to Pensacola, we discovered a Honkytonk called the Florabama Lounge. It's a strange place to have a worship service, but the Perdido Key United Methodist has an outreach ministry there that draws about 500 people a week to a tent service at the bar. It is very cool and we liked it a lot. If you are interested, check out Facebook, Florabama/worship. During the month of October, they had a breast cancer fund raising drive. The city of Orange Beach sent over their pink fire truck "Cindy" to help draw attention. John Mason Smith took our picture with the truck in front of the Florabama.
