Making Progress

It's another busy morning. Jeff & Ed have finally finished with the electrical rewiring, the new stereo is installed and this morning the sails are going on. Jeff has hired a guy to wax & buff the hull, his shoulders just won't do that kind of stuff anymore. Unfortunately he's sick again. Not down, but feeling pretty crummy with another cold. He's just exhausted but won't stop for a minute. The boat is scheduled to float this Thursday at 8:30 and go into a slip on A dock. Maybe then he'll take a day off. We have the apartment until Sunday, then move onto Adagio.
Yesterday I made a sleeve sunbrella cover for the flag pole that's mounted on the transom. When we are on passage at night the flag covers up the lights, so instead of having to stow it inside now we'll be able to just cover it up. I hope that finishes my sewing projects for this trip. Today I'm organizing the apartment. What goes to the boat, what goes to storage, you know the drill. I'm also trying to finish any docs that need to be printed so I don't have to take the printer to the boat. This afternoon I'll work in the boat washing all the walls and cupboards with vinegar water. After that dries I'll use orange oil to make it smell good and look beautiful.
The "wind event" has ended and it's beautiful here today. Bright sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. Nice.
Time to get back to work so I'll end this now. Love you!
