Started out early this morning from a great ovrenite anchorage. Within the first hour we saw at least a dozen bald eagles soaring or just watching us from the trees!! Must have been the perfect time and weather for them. Awesome... After a couple of hours we came up on Albany and it was nearing lunch so we docked for a couple of hours. Grabbed a subway/Starbucks and walked around town. The pedestrian walkway seemed rather new (2002) and actually many people were taking advantage of it on their noonhour which was good to see. Onto the first of 35 locks in Troy and holding over in Waterford for a couple of days.
