Well…good news, bad news. First and foremost, Patty is fine. Unfortunately, the doc said the issue was part of the aging process. Not exactly what she wanted to hear. But, no treatment or follow up necessary. Now, the bad news. Since we were in there, Patty talked me into having my eyes checked. Guess I had to disclose the cataract and my cloudy vision in one eye. The doc agreed with my prognosis and now I’m seeing a specialist tomorrow to check it out.. One more day of delay before we restart our 2011 cruise.

Now, we plan to leave again Wednesday morning. Our friends are in Pelican Bay to wait out the stormy weather due to come through our area Tuesday. Hopefully, we will meet up with them Wednesday and we will start the trek across the state together. Weather should be good Wednesday on.

Further news - the shuttle launch set for April 19 has been reportedly delayed at least ten days. Now, we must rethink the issue of launch vs. the Bahamas.
