Today is our final day at Gulfport. We took a 3-mile walk to the municipal marina and then back through the bricked streets of Gulfport. We all had lunch together at O'Maddy's, a bar on the waterfront that was recommended to us by a local. As you can tell, we had a great deal of fun. We eventually all ended up on Two If By Sea to play Pegs 'n' Jokers, won by the women. After making plans for tomorrow's early departure, everybody went back to their respective boats. We have enjoyed seeing this very attractive, boater-friendly spot and look forward to our next stop, Caladesi Island State Park. Our route should be out John's Pass for a 15-mile run in the Gulf up to Clearwater Pass and then on the state park where we plan to stay for a week. We probably won't have any internet access at the park, so updates will follow when possible.
