Good Weather At Last
16 May 2014 | Vero Beach, FL
What a difference a day makes. The front has moved through, followed by brisk, cool, dry, northerly winds. These will diminish in a couple of days and boats, including us, will be on the move. Several have come in yesterday and today, as Vero is a great stopover point and is well protected.
When we got up this morning, I inspected the dinghy and the amount of water that had collected in it yesterday. I thought that if the water in it was warm enough, it would make a great soaking tub. Instead, I decided to pup it out. It always amazes me how much water it can collect. Too bad we couldn’t save it for the boat.
Tomorrow is probably another beach walking day and farmers’ market. We will take the bus over to the beach and may find our way to the ice cream store. That means we should walk back to the marina. We’ll see!
