Solo Journey starts

North wind and waves. Sunny
Mark took Pat and I ashore at Nicolet Bay to drop Pat off with Kathy and Cathy. So now I continue on my journey alone. Pat can't be replaced and I wish she were still here with me.
Earlier we motored into north wind and waves from Egg Harbor and anchored at Horseshoe Island (stop me if you've heard this before). I studied the weather routing software and decided it would be better to leave at 7 instead of 4. But it was so calm at the anchorage, I decided to leave at 4. I am paying dearly for my unbelief and wished I had left later. The weather I was trying to avoid was worth avoiding.
