Autopilot dead

El 582. Cloudy, cool
Sunday we made use of the lay day by tightening the engine belts and changing the engine oil. The one place in town that took used oil was overdue to have his tanks emptied, so the only way to get rid of the oil was to put it in some container. Roger already had done that. I had to play musical oil containers to finally get my used oil in a suitable container.
Traveling today was an uneventful motor, except for the fact that my autopilot stopped working again after a few hours. This is getting to me. It appears that the drive itself has died, or at least the clutch had died. Which renders the whole drive useless. I will be making calls to dealers while underway tomorrow. Steering while trying to do everything else is difficult.
