Do I or don’t I ... that is the question

Sunny and warm. Beginning to cool off.
The photo shows a dinghy dock. The dinghy is your car - it takes you wherever you want to go. Here in Annapolis, there is a dinghy dock at the end of every street that goes to the water.
I spent some time today reading, cleaning and doing some maintenance. Yesterday I defrosted the fridge. Today was cleaning and greasing the main halyard winch. When I first did this a few years ago, I only cleaned the top drum part. Later I learned the gears in the bottom of the winch also needed to come out so they could be taken apart and cleaned. Getting them out can be a challenge and each winch seems to be made differently.
Roger has two issues on his boat now. The washing machine doesn’t work (I’m not sure how badly I should feel about that), and the refrigerator was acting up. Today it wasn’t running at all. Roger wasn’t getting a voltage reading at the compressor. Even though he had taken the seat apart and opened the back of the cabinet to the refrigerator many times (which involved removing screws), he did it one more time when I came over. I verified there was 12 volts at the compressor. Tari flipped the switch at the control panel and the compressor started running. Things were still working when we came back from dinner. I didn’t do anything, but that hasn’t stopped me before from taking credit for fixing something. :-)
The United States Boat Show (formerly the Annapolis Boat Show) is next weekend. I am here. Will I get another chance in the future to attend this boat show? Probably not. I would like to attend some talks by folks I have been following online. We have exchanged greetings online - it would be nice to meet face to face. I didn’t think this would fit in my trip schedule, but I reworked the schedule and it seems it might work. I will check a few more things and decide tomorrow. Tari wants me to stay.
