You can get anything that you want at ...

05 October 2017 | United States (Annapolis) Boat Show
Sunny and warm, then clouds
The United States Boat Show is pretty amazing. The number and types of vendors boggles the mind. If you can't find something here, it may not exist. Roger and Tari are getting a number of their issues addressed here. They even found LED bulbs to replace their fluorescent tubes. So such a thing does exist. They also found it is possible to run two Honda generators connected in such a way they can get 30 amp service from them and run one of their A/C units. An Island Packet moored here has that setup.

The number of boats is amazing. Going to the Jeanneau boat display, for example, reminds me of walking into an Apple store. There is a booth on both sides of the dock, each booth has two desks staffed by two greeters - so 8 greeters. Followed by a swarm of sales people wearing red. There are even couches to relax in. Larsen Marine has one salesman at this display, but I haven't found him. However, I did run into David Evans from Ratso. He sails in the Solo Mac races on Lake Huron. Funny how that works out.

There are numerous charter companies here from the Virgin Islands and numerous fund raisers and chances to donate to hurricane relief efforts for the Caribbean Islands. Tourism is their economy, so they are all bound and determined to come back online as soon as possible - in months, not years. However, a full recovery may take years.
