Great weekend had by all. Welcomed Gary and friends for his 3rd year running charter with us.
Slipped Hamble 6pm with fair tide and wind down to Lymington overnight on Dan Bran Morrings. Meal ashore at Mayflower and early to bed!!!!! A little late for some.
Slip at 5.30am with great sunrise aqs we pass the needles. S by SW, and arrive Cherbourg 4.30pm. Good crossing with some succoming to sea sickness, but probably the alcohol assisted from the night before.
Meal ashore and sunday to relax and enjoy. Visted the wine cave with delivery to the yacht on Q pontoon.
Monday, early slip again 5.30am, but whole crew up and involved. Had a great send off in Cherbourg, a lone dolphin decided to escort us out and play in our wake for about 5 mins. What an honour.
Running with a SW picking up to a F5, F6. No one ill and eventually moored up at Hamble via Nab Tower at 6.30pm.
