Lisa Blair in Mooloolaba

11 October 2017
It was so good to see Lisa in person after her courageous and challenging voyage around Antartcica last night. She gave a powerful presentation which had many of us feeling emotional during her dismasting footage. It was a great turn out hosted by Mooloolaba Yacht Club at Chances, on the The Wharf. So many friends and supporters. Congratulations Lisa on achieving your goal. We can now look forward to following your all female crew in the Sydney to Hobart and your solo circumnavigation of Australia.
I'm pictured here ( that's me Linda) with Lisa, Jessica Watson and Linda Blair (Lisa's mum and number 1 supporter in all ways). Good to catch up with Jessica too.

St John survives second hurricane Maria

20 September 2017
The community of St John are working together with aid workers and are doing okay. To rebuild the island it will take time. Here's a recent report and link for much needed donations News of St John link

St John is where we found Lati and made many wonderful friends. This photo was taken next to one of the beautiful beaches where there are interesting ruins. One of my favourite shots.
