April can't get here soon enough...can't wait to get home, see the dog and the family of course and get busy finishing some overdue projects before we shove off in mid-May or June. I ran across the following definition which sums it all up:

Sailing (Sa'ling), :1. n. the fine art of getting wet and cold becoming seasick while slowly going nowhere at great expense. Experience isn't required, but appreciated.

So you ask yourself, "why do you do it?" Unlike some amateur authors I can't put it into words, you just have to experience it. This summer we plan to semi-circumnavigate Vancouver Island. The only solid plans so far would be Barkley Sound in August, Desolation Sound in early September, visit Victoria BC many times and Vancouver BC at least once and back in Portland by end of September.
