We had absolute champagne sailing on our way up here. Made Wide Bay in 15 hours!! Crossed the next morning, best crossing yet. We have had one glorious day after another, Thursday night we had a night in Kingfisher Bay Resort and a great dinner as our early anniversary celebration. A perfect day.
Today we are having a lazy jib sail around to Platypus Bay. A beautiful anchorage on the north of Fraser Island, before making passage to Lady Musgrave Island. Fair winds M.

Cool with moderate SE winds
Just about ready to leave. The new dodger/ Bimini and sides are on, the new solar panels up and running, except for the bigger breaker.
We have our new chain and anchor, the provisioning is done and we are so knackered we'll need a week to recover! Hoping for a weather window for next weekend.
Our boat looks fantastic and all systems are working well. She's a classic Hans Christian 43 T which we've owned for 5 years, we've done a bit of cruising. But this is our long awaited " Big Trip". A slow cruise to the Whitsunday Islands,
We also have our 2 very sea savvy cats on board.
