Despite the few glitches, all seem to be enjoying the beauty of Gran Canaria and the lovely town of Las Palmas, good food, a few cigars. Warm, nice weather. A new halyard arrives tomorrow and the SAT phone is now working fine. Phil's Vodafone internet service we bought in Mallorca isn't working well though, so he's only online when he can get to a wifi site (phone and texting works fine). Volker Petersen arrives tomorrow on neighboring Tenerife island and will take the short ferry to Gran Canaria to join the crew. More news later....
