While there has been a slight delay in getting to Bermuda due to several technical/systems issues, there have been many good sailing days, sunsets, sunrises, great meals and great camaraderie on board. We need to have some checks on engine, generator and autopilot in Bermuda, anticipating some repairs and adjustments. This means a delay on the final push to Newport, perhaps by a week. And, the need for replacement crew as most cannot stay around for such a delay.

Venturous' position as of today is 337 nm from Bermuda, doing 5.5 kts in gentle SSE seas and breeze. Estimating arrival sometime late Sunday if this progress holds. Soon!
