The Roman Theatre has been beautifully restored and it is wonderful to wander around and imagine what it must have been like in it's day. It is a must see destination to visit in Cartagena.

Just by the exit to the amphitheatre is a really good restaurant - La Catedral - the food is beautifully presented, imaginative combinations and very delicious. The owner Pablo makes everyone very welcome and has restored the building with interesting features. The glass floor allows you to look down on the roman ruins below.

This restaurant is a must eat destination at least once. It is elegant and booking is a must.

We had dinner here with our friends from Lisbon on Fenicia. They arrived from Denia after a month or so in the Balearics and now they are on their way to Lisbon, before going to Maderia and then they get ready to cross the Atlantic at the end of the year.
