After another hot sticky day we have arrived in Lake St Clair. The good news is we actually put the jib up today for most of the day. AND. NO FLIES!
Getting through the Detroit River was a real challenge. The current had 2.6 knots against us in the Amherstburg Channel.
Just heard thunder. Looks like it might storm tonight. That wouldn't be a bad thing.
Tomorrow we hope to Port Huron area. Wow. Sounds like we are getting there. Oh! The water temperature in the lakes is 79 degrees! Wish we were anchored in a cove so we could swim!
