September is fast approaching and we are working madly to get the boat ready and our gear ready for our new adventure. D-day is September 2. Depending on weather. It is like fall here already. Looks like even though we are leaving two weeks earlier we will still have to pack winter and summer clothes.

Jim Webster will join us until we get to NYC. Margaret will join us in Catskill. Not sure what niece Beth is doing. Also, our friends the Peaches will be joining us. Looking forward to lots of fun and great sailing!

Today the main gets pulled off the boat in anticipation of taking the mast down for the canal. Bobby has made new supports for the mast while it is on deck. Think they will work better than he first ones he made.

Got to get cracking!
