Hudson River

Yesterday we stepped the mast in Catskill and shopped. Today the boys finished rigging the mast, putting the sails on, etc. then Bobby and I did a quick wash down of the boat. It was filthy! It is somewhat better now. Around 12:30 we took off down the Hudson. We ran into the Clearwater, Pete Seeger's boat to promote cleaning of the Hudson River. Around three we picked up the the outgoing tide and flew down the River. The weather had really changed. It was much cooler. By the end of the day we all had long pants and fleeces on. We are anchored in a little cove with a couple other boats.
Dinner is cooking and we are enjoying a drink. Tomorrow: the big apple!
