After a long disappointing winter we are finally on the Vitesse again. Yesterday we left Green Cove Springs Marina in Jacksonville and headed out the St. John's River to Mayport. We ran into a terrific storm and anchored out of the channel for about an hour. It was almost like hail for a while. But eventually it cleared up and we took off again. We anchored for the night on the ICW just north of the St. John's River past the Sisters bridge just west of Mayport.

This morning we woke up to a great day andotored south to St Augustine. We are at Camamche Cove Yacht Harbor and will be here until the first of May. We are having our refrigeration worked on that blew out our first day on the Erie Canal last September. Also we are fixing the antenna for our GPS which we discovered yesterday had died over the winter.

This place has three restaurants, a pool, and great showers and laundry facilities. Everyone is very nice.
