Jacky
Last night we anchored right behind the dead Atlantic City casinos by the coast guard station. Friday night and no lights on!
This morning we were up and off by 7:30 to travel up to Mannesquan. The day started off sunny but turned cloudy and cold, then sunny again. AND once again there was not enough wind to sail on so we motored the entire way once again. We are getting lots of practice taking the main up and down.
Mannesquan is a cute little fishing/tourist town. But anchoring here is really dicey. I think it took an hour for the anchor to hold.
Tomorrow we want to get well up the Hudson River, which means we will once again be going by the Statue of Liberty and the new World Trade Center. It's always heart stopping.
