At sea

We've covered 150 miles since noon yesterday which is a pretty good run. Last night was uneventful with the breeze a steady 15-20kts from the NW and with us running SE that means it was dead aft of us. We've snapped our spinnaker pole again which means we can't pole out the genoa under these conditions. Last night we simply ran off with a reefed main and no headsail and still managed to average 6.5kts. We headed up a little above our lay line this morning in order to run a two sail broad reach. If we continue this course we'll make our landfall tomorrow somewhat north of Bandaras Bay and will have to run down the coast to PV. There's also some islands on our track that we'll be passing at 1:00AM tomorrow morning so I'm keen not to bump into them.
We are both well and Debbie is making up her provisioning list in order to hit the ground running on Monday. I have to somehow find (or make) a spinnaker pole in PV and then we'll be out of there heading south along the "Mexican Riviera" towards Acapulco. The water is starting to warm up - today it's 22.4C and the air temp the same. We have clear skys and a 2 meter sea.
