I watched a movie yesterday night taking place during the Tulip bulb craze and crash in Holland in 1634 that I actually knew about from the economics/finance book A random walk down Wall Street. Nice romantic drama but I stopped watching before the end because I didn't like the way it was headed (boy doesn't get girl and everything gets fucked up), Janneke whoa had watched it a couple days ago convinced me that the end would be ok so I restarted it and it was the best end they could have done considering how terrible things looked when I stopped! Still reading Naomi Klein. Her Trump branding idea is good. I wish she would be more to the point with more data: give me numbers to quantify the amplitude of the problem.
