Good Morning! Headed SSE!
20 January 2018 | East of New Zealand
Good morning ! 6:40am here!
Finally the wind filled in from the WNW during the night so we're headed SSE. We could be on a more easterly route but I'm trying to escape south as quickly as possible. Yesterday the easy fix on the watermaker (changing a couple O rings on a leaky by-pass valve) of course didn't work; the harder taking apart bit today takes about 3 hours but has in my opinion even fewer chances to work. But it's the only thing I can do aboard; it's a little bit like having lost your keys somewhere in a dark street with a single street light: you look under the street light because it's the only place you could find them!
I slept pretty well. We alternate cabins with Janneke. One night she sleeps there, and the next night it is I. The other one sleeps in the saloon. Last night, saloon for me.
.... I don't see us at the Falklands until the end of February then a week there then Uruguay the 3rd week of MArch.
