Sporty Tuesday with Pyramid Swells and Pizza

Pretty sporty day today: winds in 34-36kts range occasionally gusting to 40kts. When seas initially build from this kind of wind they're short and steep. Add some cross swells and you get these little pyramids. But we went fast and had some 9kts-9.5kts occasionally. Spent most of the day under 3 reefs and rolled staysail. Just shook the 3 reef after sunset so we're now with 2 reefs and jib. We did 160nm in the last 24 hrs which is a good run for Taya. We finally saw the moon after sunset but it was already high in the sky, so not looking so big. But that sure helped me when shaking the reef because I could see like in almost broad daylight.
Finished Naomi Klein today: she's got the ticket for what to do. Finish it quickly to tell me what you think of it Janneke is starting to read it. I'm going to start the book she finished by Jo Nesbo (Norwegian thriller writer; know him?). Made some bread and pizza today as well; pizza was ok but bread a total flop; probably following a couple errors like letting it rise too long the second time so it flopped back down and forgetting to take it out of the oven and also probably using the wrong amount of fine Kiwi yeast. All minor points; so I really don't know why the bread gave me some attitude?
Got all of long black veil today.
We didn't do our exercise today. I haven't found a good excuse yet; Janneke said she was sore after yesterday so needed to give a muscles a rest (which in my view is a bit lame for an excuse but nevertheless better than mine).
